Determination & Patience

Determination and patience I guess is the most suitable answer for my previous post on "How to break the egg?". I don't dare to comment further but seems like there is a little bit of improvement after I posted on a forum :)

Saw a message today under "Message Me!" column on the right panel of my page by Mia. He/She said "Hard work never killed anybody". At this particular moment, it sound very logic to me :) Most of the time I think I've been too nervous to see if there is any result without giving myself enough time and try hard to work on it. So start from now my principle is 'slow and steady'. I've started improving to achieve my resolution. Have you?

Tomorrow is my appraisal day. Not sure if I'm prepared for it. It seems long time ago since I've my last appraisal. Yeah I think is around March 2010. Hopefully it will be an easy and quick one :) Lots of thing needs to be done!

How to Break the 'Egg'?

Today is the replacement public holiday for New Year in KL. Additional day of rest but seems like no chance to rest at all. KL and I went to The Curve to catch a movie "We Bought a Zoo". Well, it doesn't really a nice movie as the whole story line is super predictable. Don't know why lately the movie that we went are all not nice.

Anyway, the purpose of us going to The Curve is to look at the sofa at Ikea. Our existing sofa is in super super terrible state now! Now we totally don't sit on it at all.. as the PU is all tearing off and sometime will even stick on our clothes if we sit on it! So irritating... Found one with OK price but we didn't buy it yet. Don't know why... Now other than my online biz stock I think I don't feel like buying anything at all.

Sigh... Phitique is still having a zero sales record till now. Perhaps I'm too 'gan cheong' as it is only establish on 19th December. It's not even 2 weeks yet :p The major challenge I'm facing now is to increase of people to "Like" my page. Hoping to find a cost free solution but still nothing crops out. Well, at least today I posted my 'Ready Stock' item at Lowyat.net. Hopefully it will be able to let more people know about Phitique and 'Like' my page even they do not buy anything.

Happy New Year 2012!

I know I know what you all gonna say. hahaha... this blog of mine have been abundant for more than half a year. So sorry ya'... Even KL have threaten me to unsubscribe my domain but still there isn't any motivation for me to write something here.

Well I guess today is the super good chance to review my pass year life. Here's the super brief one.

1. Things changed. I change and I believe you change too! hehe.. is just the matter of good or worst. I'd changed my job.. again.. (hey but the last time I changed my job is end of 2009 gua..) hehe.. anyway the fact is I changed my job.

2. My dad met with an accident on Oct. Super suey... But thank god he is ok now. God (if there is) gotta po pi po pi my parents best of health in year 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 and the list go on... ohh.. and the same wishes to KL parents too :)

3. I've started an online boutique named 'Phitique'. Ya, if you are reading this and haven't 'like' my page yet, please do so at www.facebook.com/phitique. Got time go look see look see even if you dont intend to buy. No force ya'. But I would greatly appreciate if you could help to share and inform more ppl about my boutique. Some of my friends really did helpful as they share it out in their page. So grateful to them!

Ermm.. I think that is all I could think of at the moment. So is time to review my last year resolution:

My 2011 Resolution:

1. To have a better prospect. DONE (new job & new own biz)

2. To lose 10kg in a year. FAILED TERRIBLY

3. Overseas trip. DONE

My 2012 Resolution:

1. Success in my online biz.

2. Overseas trip. (yeah! Feb go company trip on Star Cruise to Krabi & Phuket and Oct go Hong Kong & Macau)

3. To lose 10kg in a year. (+ u + u + u!!!)

4. Update my blog at least 4 times a month. (only then the domain $ wont be wasted :p)

Again, this year I try to make my resolution as achievable as possible. How about you? Have you make your resolution for 2012? Happy New Year and may you have a wonderful year ahead!

Connect

Yesterday was asked by somebody what is the thing that connect you with the company? The first thing that comes up from my mind is definitely "COLLEAGUES". Ya, I am sure of it. In my circumstances, there is no other better answer than this.

From the positive point of view, yes this is a good start! Everyone is connected with the people working around them! Is this the real truth? For better or worse, definitely there will be good and bad point there. Do we only want to look at the good point? Or whatever the answer that people gave is portraying a positive feedback? Not as I know of. To me, brave yourself and look at the bad point. Know it! Think about it! Do something about it! Change it!!! Wouldn't it be better than keep telling yourself everything is fine and everyone is happy?

I heard lots of other answers besides "colleagues". Some are very honest in giving their answers. Some I feels quite political. Some seems very unsure of their answers. Some I feel they gave the answer for the sake of giving an answer! I suppose by asking such a question, the person is concerned and would like to make it a better working environment for all. So let's hope that the question asked is not just for the sake of asking questions!
